 10 Great Movies That Deserve Awesome Re-Makes Metropolis (1927) - A beautiful movie with a timeless message; I would love to see it done with today’s special effects. The Black Cauldron (1985) - You owe them Disney. You them big time Sweeny Todd (2007) - The Johnny Depp version is okay.  But I’d like to see a version that includes ALL the songs and ALL the extra scenes. The Swan Princess (1994) - Same as above. The original cartoon will always have a place in my heart (corny songs and all) but I think we’re ready for a movie that’s actually based on Swan Lake, and has the actual music from the ballet.
